Make & Print Bingo Cards (Free) | Word Bingo, Number Caller, Win Check & How Many Prizes You Need
Bingo Card Maker is a free tool that makes number bingo cards (5×5 with 1–75, 4×4, 3×3) and word bingo cards (icebreaker, English words, prefectures and more) with no duplicates, up to 300 at a time, and prints 1, 2, 4 or 6 per A4 page. Each card carries a set number and a card number (No.), and the same set number always recreates the same cards, so from the numbers the caller draws you can check on the spot whether “No. 12 really has bingo,” how many cards are one away, and how many players would get bingo at the same time on the next draw. The caller draws without repeats, reads numbers aloud, can undo one draw, and accepts manual entry; it resumes where you left off even after you close the page. From the number of players and prizes it also simulates on average which draw the first bingo comes on, when and after how many minutes the prizes run out, and how many prizes to prepare if you want to finish in 20 minutes.

ABOUT
About Make & Print Bingo Cards (Free) | Word Bingo, Number Caller, Win Check & How Many Prizes You Need
Bingo Card Maker makes number bingo cards (5×5 with B-I-N-G-O and 1–75, 4×4, 3×3) and word bingo cards filled with your own words such as icebreaker prompts, English words, prefectures or Christmas terms, with no duplicate cards, up to 300 at a time, and prints 1, 2, 4 or 6 per A4 page. Each card carries a set number and a card number (No.), and the same set number always recreates the same cards. Using the numbers from the caller (no repeats, read-aloud, undo one), you can just enter a card number to judge bingo or one-away, and see how many of the cards you handed out have bingo or are one away, and how many would get bingo at once on the next draw. It also simulates, from the number of players and prizes, which draw and how many minutes in the first bingo comes and the prizes run out.

- Make English word bingo cards for English classes or conversation schools
- Use a phone or computer as a number caller when you do not have a bingo machine

Good to know
- The 5×5 number bingo uses the common Japanese layout: column B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60, O 61–75, with the center as FREE. You can also change to 4×4 or 3×3 and change the number range (such as 1–90). Numbers are sorted from smallest at the top in each column.
- Cards are made from a random sequence determined by the set number, settings and card number, so the same set number and settings give the same cards no matter how many times you open them or on which device. Changing the settings (grid size, number range, word list) produces different cards, so it is safest to keep the settings you printed with by using “Copy URL.”
- No two cards in the same set have exactly the same layout.
- Word bingo needs at least as many different words as fit on one card (24 for 5×5 with FREE). The more words you have, the more varied the cards are and the fewer people get bingo at the same time.
- Icebreaker bingo is usually played without the caller: you find people who match a square, get their signature, and the first to complete a line wins.
- Probabilities come from a simulation that repeats the draw hundreds to thousands of times, assuming each player holds one different random card. With 5×5, FREE and 1–75 and 30 players, the first bingo comes on about the 21st draw on average, and the fifth on about the 31st.
- The draw history and settings are saved only in this browser’s localStorage and are never sent to a server. Printing also works from HTML generated inside the browser.

FAQ
- Around which draw does the first person get bingo?
- In ordinary bingo with 5×5, a FREE center and 1–75, where everyone holds a different card, the first bingo comes on average at about the 26th draw with 10 players, about the 22nd with 20, about the 21st with 30, about the 19th with 50 and about the 17th with 100. If each draw takes 20 seconds, that means the first bingo comes about 7 minutes in with 30 players.
- How many bingo prizes should I prepare?
- It is easier to decide by working backward from the time you have. With 30 players and 20 seconds per draw, in 20 minutes (60 draws) about 29 people on average, nearly everyone, have bingo, but in 10 minutes (30 draws) only about 4, and in 13 minutes (40 draws) about 13. With 30 players and 5 prizes, the fifth bingo comes on average at about the 31st draw (about 10 minutes). Enter the players and time in this tool’s “Prize count & probability” to run the same calculation.
- What is the chance that a single bingo card gets bingo?
- For one card with 5×5, FREE and 1–75, the chance of having bingo is about 2% by the 20th draw, about 14% by the 30th, about 45% by the 40th, about 81% by the 50th and about 98% by the 60th. For a single card, bingo comes on average at about the 41st draw. Without FREE it slows to about the 44th draw.
- Which numbers go in the B, I, N, G and O columns of a bingo card?
- In bingo using 1–75, column B is 1–15, I is 16–30, N is 31–45, G is 46–60 and O is 61–75. Each column holds 5 numbers (4 in column N because the center is FREE). This tool’s caller shows each drawn number with its column letter, like “B-12,” and reads it aloud.
- How do I make word bingo?
- Choose “Word bingo” and enter the words you want to use, one per line. You need at least 24 different words for 5×5 with FREE, or at least 8 for 3×3. Entering about 30 to 50 makes the cards more varied and the game more exciting. You can pick templates for English words, prefectures, Christmas, hiragana foods and icebreaker prompts. The caller draws one at a time from the words you entered.
- How can I check that someone who shouted “Bingo!” really has a line?
- Cards printed with this tool carry the set number and card number (such as No.012) at the bottom. Enter that card number in “Number caller & win check” and it shows the card with the drawn numbers marked and the completed line highlighted in yellow. Open it with the same set number and settings as when you printed.
- Can several people get bingo at the same time?
- Yes. With 30 players, an average of 1.16 people complete a line on the draw that produces the first bingo, and it is not unusual for two or more to get bingo at once. The more players, the more likely it is; with 100 players the average is 1.27. If you announce beforehand that ties are settled by rock-paper-scissors or a lottery, the game will not stall.
